6th grade students exemplified "The Primacy of Self-Discovery".
the STEM task required them to persevere and overcome emotions during the 2nd dissection this year. Working in pairs, they discovered the 4 chambers of the heart & explained how blood passes through the body.
Students were deeply engaged during our Cr8 after school enrichment class, as students learned about Japanese Suminagasht art. Suminagashi is the Japanese art of marbling, dating back to the 12th Century. Art fosters curiosity! #Deeperlearning #EPICConway

Minimum School Day. Friday, November 18th, 2022 is an minimum school day. TK to 6th Grade student's will be release at 12:10 pm. Please mark your calendars and set your alarms!
As an Expeditionary Learning School, students develop a deeper understanding within each discipline, then transfer knowledge to meaningful tasks. 1st grade started a new module, a study of tools & work. 1st graders then applied new knowledge in building planters & bookcases.
Reminder! The time will "fall back" 1 hour on Sunday, November 6th at 2:00 am.
