If you would like to learn about Conway Academy of Expeditionary Learning with a students perspective, we invite you to receive a tour guided by our student Ambassadors next Tuesday, January 27 at 8:05 am.
We will be hosting 2nd grade Family Day at Lunch
Friday, January 30th from 12:30 - 1:10 pm in the MPR.
Family Day at Lunch is a day where families can bring their student lunch or purchase lunch from our cafeteria to enjoy. Food purchased outside or made at home will be for your student only and must not be shared with other students.
Reminders;
- Younger sibling guests must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times
- Play equipment is ONLY for Conway students
- Maximum 4 guest per student

Friday, January 23 is "Wear all one color day".
Friday, February 6 is Super Bowl Weekend so it will be "Sports Day", wear your favorite sports clothing.

Vision boards are a creative way that people express their aspirations, goals and dreams. It is a very popular activity this time of year and we want to offer parents and guardians the opportunity to create their own.
Join us Wednesday, January 14 at 8:15 am in room 5 to create a vision board to help keep you on track and in alignment with your goals this year.
*Materials and light refreshments will be provided.
Families are invited to participate in the upcoming virtual workshop series as we read "Graciela's Dream", one of the Lectura Books from the The Latino Family Literacy Project series. Participants will learn about college preparedness and how to support their student in the process.
Meetings will take place on Tuesdays starting January 13 - February 17.
There will be a morning 9:00 - 10:30 AM session and evening 6:00 -7:30 PM session.
A copy of the book and supplies will be provided by your site family liaison upon registration.
This program will be presented in Spanish.

Parents, students & families, we need your help to continue with our Annual Cookie Walk for staff this school year. We are asking for HOMEMADE holiday treats, cookies, bars and/or fudge brownies for school staff to create a sweets plate to enjoy before the holiday break. The 8th Annual Cookie Walk will take place on Thursday, December 18 after school.
Please drop off baked items at the front office on
Wednesday, December 17th or Thursday, December 18th before 12 pm.
Your help is greatly appreciated in continuing this annual tradition for our teachers & staff.
**Please have tasty treats displayed on a disposable tray.
The class with the highest participation will win a prize at the end of each Spirit Day.

Participants will get step by step instructions using acrylic paint and a canvas to create a holiday painting.
No experience is necessary.
Conway PTA will provide supplies and hot cocoa.
