Last Friday, our school's PTA hosted a Dinner and Movie Night featuring the Super Mario Bros. Movie. We want to thank everyone that attended and supported this event.

Yesterday, we had our 2nd Semester Family Stories Celebration. Parents spent the past 9 weeks reading books in English and Spanish, practicing grammar and vocabulary in both languages, and having discussions about the books. We are very proud of them.
Ayer tuvimos nuestra celebración del segundo semestre de cuentos familiares. Los padres pasaron las últimas 9 semanas leyendo libros en inglés y español, practicando gramática y vocabulario en ambos idiomas y discutiendo sobre los libros. Estamos muy orgullosos.

Our eSports enrichment program is growing strong after making its debut in the fall as part of our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. eSports has students exercising their critical thinking skills, engaging in career exploration, learning to collaborate, and more. Today we hosted our Stress Management and Mindfulness workshop alongside Vista Hill. Parents also had the opportunity to speak about their experiences relating to stress and mindfulness. Alma Quintero, Vista Hill Promotora, guided parents in teaching them how to create homemade stress balls using everyday items such as dry lentils, jelly beads, balloons, and water bottles. Please stay tuned for updates from our Family Liaison regarding future workshops.
Hoy organizamos nuestro taller de Manejo del estrés y consciencia mental junto a Vista Hill. Los padres también tuvieron la oportunidad de hablar sobre sus experiencias relacionadas con el estrés y la consciencia mental. Alma Quintero, promotora de Vista Hill, guió a los padres para enseñarles cómo crear pelotas antiestrés caseras utilizando elementos cotidianos como lentejas secas, perlas de gelatina, globos y botellas de agua. Estén atentos a las actualizaciones de nuestra coordinadora de familias sobre futuros talleres.
