Visit the Enrollment and Registration webpage to access the appropriate links and review important information for this process – whether you are a current EUSD family or new to the district, for students incoming in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. For the 2024-2025 school year, children are eligible for full-day Transitional Kindergarten if their date of birth is between September 2, 2019, and September 1, 2020. For full-day Kindergarten, eligible students must be age 5 on or before September 1, 2024.
Returning families will receive a letter by U.S. Mail with instructions for accessing the parent portal. It is essential that all returning students register through the online process in order to update essential information.
Parents of 3rd grade students are invited to join us on May 14th at 11:50AM. We have a special presentation by EPD Officer Lesso. He will share Traffic Safety tips for you and your child. Following the brief presentation our 3rd grade students will join us in the MPR to share lunch with their parents.
Join us in person or via Zoom for the next PTA Association Meeting on Tuesday 5/14 at 3PM. Pizza and refreshments served for those who attend in person at the Rock Springs MPR.

Thursday May 2nd Rock Springs will be hosting two events.
First, at 4:30PM Join our PTA for ways to support your child in this Digital world. (Reservations required for dinner)
Then starting at 5:30PM we open the gates and welcome families to visit their child's classroom at our annual Open House event.
Gates close at 6:30PM
Families of students who are a part of the Rock Springs Band. The Spring Concert will be held May 14th at California Center for the Arts. Tickets are required and must be requested in advance. There is no charge to attend this event. Order your tickets online beginning April 23rd.

Friday Rock Springs celebrated 30 years serving the students of Escondido. Students joined together with pompoms in hand excited to see what was in the 30 year old time capsule. Special guests then welcomed students to the stage as they brought up items for the shiny new 2024 time capsule to be buried. The event ended with our new RS logo and our RS song led by Rocky the Roadrunner. Thank you RS PTA, teachers, and staff, for making this exciting event so special.
Students in grades 3rd-5th grade will begin state testing on Monday 4/15. Please support your student by getting a minimum of 8 hours of sleep, having a healthy breakfast, and arriving at school by 8AM. Students who arrive late will not be able to test that day and will need to complete their testing during makeup sessions.
Today our 5th grade RS STEM Challenge Day team competed against schools from across Escondido Union School District.
They Rocked in the area of Robotics, bringing home 3rd place. Congratulations!

What's eSports all about?
In EUSD, it's more than just gaming! Our eSports enrichment program is growing strong after making its debut in the fall as part of our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. eSports has students exercising their critical thinking skills, engaging in career exploration, learning to collaborate, and more.
