Week 19 - December 18th, 2022

Greetings Conway Families,

We approach our final days of 2022 and our goal is to cultivate joy in all our classrooms and send our cougars feeling our Crew spirit. Help us bring holiday spirit each day by participating in our spirit days.

Our Conway YMCA after school program partnered with The ArtReach Mural Program to create a beautiful new mural about “Building a Better World”. Students and staff collectively contributed to the ideas and theme for this art.

Students partnered with the artists this week to add their color to their collective ideas. The mural represents student learning and their efforts in building a better world and their continual movement upward as they grow their minds and spirit.

Our W.H.O. (We Help Others) YES, you can help your community! WHO Crew needs your help collecting food donations for the Interfaith Community Center. Donate what you CAN until January 18th. Let’s help feed the hungry together! “Remember, it feels good to do good!” Watch this video from our students in WHO Crew.

We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire students to discover their unlimited potential through Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity, and Compassion. Together we are creating an EPIC school. We are in this together and believe, We Are Crew, not passengers.

Cookie Walk Success!

A huge thank you to our Conway Community families for bringing back this EPIC tradition. Look at this incredible Cookie Walk you all created for our Conway Crew 💙🎄.

It was a holiday themed Pizza with the Principal Friday!

These students earned their seat by showing what EPIC looks like inside and outside of the classroom.

Lost and Found Items

Lost and found is overflowing again. Your students' jackets are missing them! All items are now hanging on the front chain link fence. Please help your student find their missing jacket, coat, sweater. Thank you.

All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of next week.

School of Choice

Typically, students attend the schools that serve the neighborhood attendance areas in which they live. However, EUSD does provide attendance options for parents and students in order to help meet the diverse needs and interests of students within the district. Students may apply for a School Choice Intradistrict Transfer to any school in the district.
