As an Expeditionary Learning school, it is important to us that we celebrate both students and our staff in whole-group school settings. Our weekly Crew Celebration assembly is a time to honor our students achievements, but equally important is to honor our amazing adult crew too. This week we were honored to recognize Mrs. Muehl, our SAI para-educator that exemplifies all the qualities our EPIC character traits in all she does. In fact, she goes above a beyond to meet the needs of our students. For all these qualities and her continued commitment to providing exceptional service, we are honored to recognize her as Conway's classified employee of the year.

Trimester 3 Begins!

Thursday marked the end of trimester two and now we begin the last 12 weeks of the school year. Report cards will be mailed home on March 8th along with i-ready family reports. Students have also moved into their last exploratory rotation for the year. Make sure to ask your learner about art, STEM, or crew rotations. As we begin this last trimester, goals have been and look to partner with our families to best support all our learners. This is a time of increased academic, social, and emotional growth for us all.

Lost & Found

Our bin is overflowing again. Please have your student look for any lost items. Families are welcome to look through it after school or on Thursday's during our Crew Celebration. All items not claimed will be donated over spring break. Your students jackets, water bottles, sweaters, coats, caps, gloves etc all miss your student. Please stop by and find those missing pieces.

National Social Worker Week March 3 -9th

The first full week of March social workers across the nation are honored. Our school social workers are an integral link between school, home, and community in helping students learn and grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Miss Daisy joined us in January and quickly started forming meaningful relationships with students and staff. She is often the link between school and home providing essential counseling, intervention, crisis management and so much more. She has made a significant impact in a short period of time.

Let's show her how much we appreciate her this week! Drop off items, room 22.

Monday - Bring her a flower

Tuesday - Write her a note of appreciation

Wednesday - Bring her a sweet treat

Thursday - Draw her a picture

Friday - Surprise her!

Social workers do help us put the pieces together.

Communication is extremely important to everyone at our EPIC school. Please make sure to scroll all the way through the weekly message. If you miss a message, you can view all communication on our website under "NEWS".

I am grateful for the opportunity to inspire students to discover their unlimited potential through Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity, and Compassion. Together we are creating an EPIC school.

We are in this together and believe, We Are Crew, not passengers.
