Engaging Families and the Community in the Life of the school
Families are key partners in the education of their children. As an EL Education school, our staff work hard to make families welcome, we value their contributions and backgrounds, and we engage them actively in the life of the school. Our staff crew encourages families to be strong partners in their children’s learning.

Empowered Learner
Every week our student leaders are front and center as they lead our weekly Crew Spirit Celebration on the blacktop at 8:00am. This is a key time for us to build community and invite all our families to join us Thursday mornings. This is also a time to recognize students in all three areas, academic achievement, character development, and high quality work.
Family Engagement
One of the best ways to stay informed of upcoming events, community resources, school communication and to be able to communicate directly with your students' teacher is via the EUSD app. If you haven’t already downloaded the app to your phone, we encourage you to do so. In order to efficiently connect to Rooms on the EUSD app, you will need to verify and set up your account via edurooms.com/signup. Your student's teacher should be able to provide the instructions which will include a unique student “Magic Code” that will link you to your students teacher portal.

Conway School loves volunteers!
Going into our 3rd week of school, Fieldworks are being scheduled, teachers are welcoming parent volunteers and our Family Engagement Center will soon be booked with many enrichment opportunities for families to contribute to their students' learning.
We invite you to submit your volunteer application at your earliest convenience to become an approved volunteer at Conway. We encourage families to apply as a Level 1 and Level 2 volunteer as it will grant access to a broader range of volunteer opportunities.

Parenting Classes
Our community partner Vista Hill would like to invite families to participate in their parenting classes based on the Incredible Years Curriculum.
Classes will be held off site but are still a valuable resource for families.

As a school, we are very fortunate to count with our very own school PTA. Your $10 membership donation will make a difference not only at Conway but statewide. Your donation and funds raised from various fundraising events this year will be used towards

PTA Popsicle sales are back!
Students and families are welcome to purchase popsicles and other goodies every Friday after school. All items are $1 each. Exact change is greatly appreciated. Students are able to trade in 15 Cougar Paws in exchange for 1 popsicle voucher in the office.
